Microbiota I-Center (MagIC) (香港微生物菌群創新中心) has kicked started the Year of Microbiome Excellence with an extraordinary event – Microbiome Summit 2024!
The 2-day summit took place on 11th & 12th January 2024 at hashtag#HKSTP with over 400 participants from 16+ countries and regions.
We were honoured to have Prof. the Hon, LO Chung Mau, BBS, JP, and Prof. John Chai to grace our summit with inspiring opening remarks. It was a privilege that we had 38 esteemed professors and industry experts to share their insights on how we could translate microbiome research into practical solutions that benefit society through advancing understanding and new approaches.
Microbiome Summit 2024 was also a special moment we witnessed the birth of the Global Alliance of Microbiome Excellence (hashtag#GAME), which aims to unleash the full potential of the microbiome's influence on human health through a global effort by fostering collaboration and innovation.
