Prof. Cheung Lik-kwan will serve as a speaker of The American Comparative Literature Association Conference’s annual meeting from 6 to 9 July 2017 at Utrecht University in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Prof. Cheung will present a paper entitled “Free-Love Discourses and the Philosophy of Life in Republican China: On ZHU Qianzhi’s Sentiment-only Theory and his Reception of Bergsonism” in a panel of “Emotional Politics, Modern Literature and Alternative Modernity in East Asia” on 8 July 2017.
