Opportunities

We are looking for highly motivated graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research assistants and undergraduate research helpers to join our research group at CUHK!

Our current research directions include:

• Applied and computational geometry: Developing efficient and accurate methods for geometric mappings, surface/volumetric parameterizations and registrations with a rigorous theoretical foundation, and applying the methods to different science and engineering problems.
• Mathematical metamaterial design: Developing computational tools for designing mechanical metamaterials with desired properites by optimizing their geometry and topology.
• Quantitative biology and medical imaging: Utilizing mathematical methods to understand the growth and form of biological structures, and designing geometric methods for biological and medical shape analysis.
