我們收到一封來自病人家屬的表揚信，讚揚本院護理科學碩士（註冊前）課程二年級生張佩玲在東區尤德夫人那打素醫院實習期間，耐心為病人講解醫療程序，並且發揮小創意，在疫情期間未能探病的限制下，讓病人能夠隔著走廊的窗戶與家人相見。🥺
值得一提的是，這位病人家屬本身是一名獸醫。同為醫療工作者的他，特別欣賞張同學真誠投入的工作態度。我們為張同學感到十分驕傲！🥰

We have received a compliment letter from a patient’s family member, praising Pauline Cheung, our Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration) Programme Year 2 student, for her patience demonstrated in explaining the medical procedures to the patient during her clinical placement at the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. The sender was also impressed by how Pauline creatively managed to let the patient see his family through the hospital hallway window given the visit restrictions under COVID-19. 🥺
It’s worth-mentioning that the sender is a veterinary surgeon. Being a healthcare service provider himself, he especially appreciates Pauline’s genuine attitude towards her job. We are so proud of you, Pauline! 🥰
