- Crime and Criminal Justice
- Gender Issues
- Intimate Partner Violence
The first study aims to investigate whether structural gender inequality has an ameliorative or backlash effect on the risk of FV-IPV. The second study aims to understand how structural gender constructs influence judges’ decisions when it comes to sentencing in FV-IPV-related cases. The third study aims to explore how local FV-IPV offenses are influenced by structural inequality in areas connected through migration networks and geographical proximity. Together, these studies aim to provide a comprehensive analysis of FV-IPV in China and contribute to developing effective interventions and policies to address this issue.
