1. To plan and supervise all general education courses, language enhancement programmes and other non-formal education activities of the College, including College Assembly and Annual Workshop.
2. To monitor the teaching and learning quality of the College General Education courses.
3. To examine course proposals for the College General Education courses according to the objectives of the CUHK General Education Programme and the specific curriculum areas concerned, and to make recommendations to the Senate Committee on General Education (SCGE) thereon.
4. To oversee the management of the Choi Koon Shum General Education Resource Centre.
5. To be accountable to Assembly of Fellows and Cabinet.
