Migrant domestic workers have been essential to the growth of Hong Kong’s economy, but these workers have been prone to continuous exploitation and abuse. They also struggle with lack of financial literacy and social exclusion, resulting in feelings of loneliness and helplessness.HelpBridge’s vision is to provide complete and reliable support for migrant workers across the Asia-Pacific region. It is a one-stop mobile platform to elevate the lives of these workers. Users can benefit from an extensive network of lawyers and NGO leaders that will take an active part in initiating discussions and answering queries. Structured as a community forum, well moderated discussion threads will create an organized and convenient space for them to discuss and help each other on topics relevant to their day to day experiences. Workers will be able to invest in their future by becoming well informed, and they can develop a sense of community and belonging in a place away from home.
