The 30th Session of I·CARE Salon:Philosophy, Politics, and Truth

I∙CARE Salon, which is an iconic programme under the University Lecture on Civility, invites renowned scholars from mainland China to preside this semester.  It is a rare opportunity that should not be missed.

The 30th session on “Philosophy, Politics, and Truth”, will be delivered by Prof. Zhou Lian* from the School of Philosophy at Renmin University of China.  Details are set out below:

*Speaker’s Biography

Prof. Zhou Lian received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Chinese University of Hong Kong.  He is currently a professor in the School of Philosophy at Renmin University of China.   His research and teaching interests include political philosophy, moral philosophy and analytical philosophy.  His publications include 《打開：周濂的100堂西方哲學課》（2019）,《正義與幸福》（2018）,《正義的可能》（2015）,《你永遠都無法叫醒一個裝睡的人》（2012）,《現代政治的正當性基礎》（2008）etc.
