Dr. Christopher See received his medical degree from the University of Cambridge (Trinity College) and trained in Emergency Medicine. A committed medical educator, his training includes a PGCE from the University of Edinburgh and a Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in medical education.
He received the Excellent Teacher Award teaching anatomy at the University of Manchester, and lectured at HKU. He is presently a lecturer at the School of Biomedical Sciences, CUHK Faculty of Medicine teaching human anatomy. He is the course coordinator of 4 courses including Medical Year 3 Anatomy and is a pre-clinical academic advisor.
His research interests are gamification, e-learning and particularly the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical education. He graduated from the Oxford AI programme, the University of Oxford, and has taught modules on AI and Machine Learning for medical school curricula. He leads the AI for Education Community of Practice in CUHK.
He was awarded Fellowships of the Academy of Medical Educators UK (FAcadMed) as well as the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) for contributions to higher education. In recognition of excellence in teaching, he received the Faculty Education Award in 2022.
