Prof. Wai-Yee Chan, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences, led a delegation to visit Jinan University on 8 September 2010. The delegation composed of Professors Gang Li, Kenneth Lee, Kingston Mak, Chao Wan, Yin Xia and Ms. Samantha Wong of the Office of Academic Links (China).

During the visit, the delegates met with Prof. Dongqing Cai (蔡冬青教授), Director of the joint Ministry of Education (MOE) Key Laboratories for Regenerative Medicine (再生醫學教育部重點實驗室) in Jinan University and his lab members. After introducing our new faculty to Prof. Cai’s team, the delegates received an update on the latest developments of the joint MOE Key Laboratories for Regenerative Medicine in Jinan University and had a discussion on future research collaboration. The meeting was rounded up by a tour to the facilities of the joint MOE Key Laboratories.
