Prof. Chu Ka-hou who retired in August 2022 shared his journey as a marine biology scholar, challenges of relevant research and its benefits to society.

The 9th Scheme has come to an end. Here comes the reflections from young scholars Lam Fai-chun Harvey (22/Chinese Language and Literature), Lam Tin-yat (Economics/3) and Yu Yaqiao (History/4).

[Column “Heterogeneity in a Single Theme”]
The theme of this issue is “Encounter” and is written by two alumni Mr. Chan Pak-ka (07/Chinese Language and Literature) and Ms. Wong Yuk-shan (18/Fine Arts). Parker focused on insights gained during his trip to Scotland when encountering the scenery there, while Yuk-shan shared her observations when passengers encountered each other in a cramped train.

Ms. Kan Yee-kuen (12/Sociology) who works in the United States told us the interesting stories of her work for host families and foreign students there.

Prof. Luk Yun-tong (Senior College Tutor) detailed the importance and basic patterns of intonation in English language.
