The programme aims at enhancing students’ Japanese proficiency and deepening their understanding of the tradition and culture of Kansai region (particularly Kyoto) in Japan. Eight New Asia students are selected by the College to attend a 3-week programme provided by Kyoto Sangyo University (KSU) including Japanese learning classes (elementary to lower intermediate level), cultural activities and the opportunity to meet some local students. Upon the completion of the programme, students would be awarded with a certificate of participation issued by Kyoto Sangyo University. Additionally, the group will go for a 1-week study trip in Kansai region before returning to Hong Kong.
