To enhance cultural exchange and academic research, Chung Chi College, New Asia College and the Department of History of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) have joined hands in 2007 to establish the “Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History”. This year, we are honoured to have invited Professor Xu Guoqi, Professor, Department of History, The University of Hong Kong, to deliver the following two lectures in early May:
1st Lecture
Sports and the Idea of China
Moderator: Prof. Puk Wing-kin, Associate Professor, Department of History, CUHK

Venue: Lecture Hall, G/F, Hong Kong Museum of History

2nd Lecture
Sports as American “New Frontier”
Moderator: Prof. Cheung Sui-wai, Department Chairman, Department of History, CUHK

Time: 4:00 p.m.
Venue: Cho Yiu Hall, G/F, University Administration Building, CUHK
All lectures will be conducted in Putonghua. Participation in person or online via Zoom is welcome.
