NA-affiliated Professor Gu Zhengcheng, Associate Professor, Department of Physics received an award from the 2023-24 Research Grants Council (RGC)’s Research Fellow Scheme (RFS) in recognition of his distinguished research achievements.

Professor Gu’s research project is “Topological Phase Transition and Quantum Criticality: Beyond Landau’s Paradigm”. He will be conferred the title “RGC Research Fellow” and receive a fellowship grant of about HK$5.2 million to cover salary costs for relief teachers and support for research projects over a period of 60 months.
