使命
心血管、代謝疾病及中風護理科研專題小組的使命是透過概念性及具影響力的研究,拓展與心血管、代謝疾病及中風護理相關的知識及創新方案 ,從而改善心血管及代謝健康,以及中風後的康復成效。
小組的主要研究方向包括:
- 應對心腦血管疾病患者或高危人士的護理需求;
- 提升中風病人及其照顧者的病情管理知識、技巧及信心,以促進康復進度和改善健康相關生活質素;及
- 制訂有效策略助代謝综合症患者進行非藥物治療及減低心血管疾病風險,以及助糖尿病患者調整生活模式。

Professor LAU Ying (Convener)
教授
劉櫻教授專注於預防醫學的研究,特別是以下四個範疇:(1) 預防睡眠不足;(2) 以科技改善介入方案;(3) 預防肥胖問題;及 (4) 促進心理健康。她在新加坡、香港、澳門及中國內地都有進行大規模研究工作的經驗,亦曾研發了多個介入方案,包括針對改善醫療工作者抗逆能力的線上介入方案、針對提升本科生抗逆能力及協助他們順利過度到臨床工作的混合介入方案,以及網絡為本的孕婦認知行為治療方案。

副院長(研究)/ 教授
車錫英教授的研究致力於改善心血管及代謝健康,透過各種創新介入方案如動機訪談、以家爲本心臟康復模式、網上康復活動、賦權自我管理計劃、太極和「隨樂起動」運動計劃等,改善患者的健康成果。車教授的研究廣泛探討教育和認知行為策略的結合運用,鼓勵患者積極參與康復計劃及調整生活模式,從而減低患病風險。

榮休教授
周柏珍教授積極投身研究,為中風患者研發和評估了多項創新的中風康復護理服務(例如虛擬跨專科中風護理診所)和介入方案(例如幫助患者重投社會的虛擬實境系統),其研究成果對中風後康復護理實踐貢獻良多。周教授亦透過不少研究項目,制訂了多套循證護理臨床實踐指引,並在醫院推行有關指引及評估其臨床護理成果。周教授更專長於知識綜合,發表了多篇有關臨床護理成果的高水準系統綜述。
Professor WAYE Miu Yee, Mary
教授
韋妙宜教授的研究專注於探索心血管疾病、中風、精神紊亂、自閉症、發展性讀寫障礙、代謝綜合症等複雜疾病的遺傳因素及生物行為標記。她目前正研究自閉症的遺傳學,以及與香港理工大學合作進行一項研究,利用結構磁共振造影數據構建腦齡模型,預測罹患阿爾茨海默病的風險。

副教授 (護理學專業應用)
陳惠嬌副教授成功進行多個研究計劃,以探討太極和氣功對各類慢性病患者改善病情之成效。她對提高慢性病高危群組的參與度有獨特興趣,這亦是貫穿其各項學術研究的主線。陳教授的研究肯定了練習太極和氣功對不同慢性病均有好處,對拓展相關知識貢獻良多。

助理教授
盧海珊助理教授一直致力於改善中風病人的健康和康復成果。她的研究主要是探討自我管理計劃對社區中風病人之成效,提升年輕患者重投社區及重返職場的能力,以及運用創新策略如芭蕾健身運動等,加強中風後居家康復護理。盧教授亦熱衷於培訓市民及專業人員成為義工,從而建立社區力量為中風病人提供支援。

研究助理教授
譚漢麟研究助理教授專注於研究創新的教育干預措施,運用科技改善患者的心臟代謝健康。譚教授亦有志於提升老年人的主觀健康水平,從而協助他們達至「健康老齡化」;以及透過系統綜述,評估各種心臟代謝和老年健康干預措施的成效。
