傳統的傳承是教會、神學以至神學教育的重要使命；而傳統是甚麼、如何傳遞，皆是核心的問題。參與這傳統的傳遞，不僅是回應對個人的呼召，也是需要向先聖先賢負責，更需要思考對後世的影響。神學教育需要長期的耕耘，而不應單看短期的成敗；它更需要一個懷有信望愛的神學群體來成就。
