Course Objectives:



1. To provide an in-depth coverage of the modern practice of quality control and management.

2. To study the statistical and quantitative models and techniques that help organizations meet and exceed the quality needs of their customers/users.
Course Outcomes:



1. Understood the basic concepts of quality and quality management.

2. Able to develop control charts according to types of data, including attribute data and variable data.

3. Able to diagnose and analyze out-of-control patterns in a control chart.

4. Able to evaluate process capability and improve a process using the concept of process capability.

5. Able to design experiments to reveal the relationships between dependent variables and independent variables.

6. Understood the requirements and certification process of ISO 9000.
