The purpose of the programme is to provide an opportunity for students to strengthen their ability to consult dictionaries for the correct pronunciation of individual characters or words. The programme provides students with a pronunciation foundation for more advanced language courses offered by various units of the University and promotes an awareness of the importance of language ability. * The programme has ceased to admit new students and will be terminated after all students have graduated
