Programme

Objectives
 
  1. To encourage students to cultivate positive attitudes and values, demonstrate care for society, develop a sense of responsibility, and attain harmony in life;
  2. To cultivate students’ independent and critical thinking, intercultural sensitivity, team spirit, and leadership;
  3. To prepare students for university life and to help them appreciate the distinguishing characteristics of university learning; and
  4. To broaden the horizons of students and to help them acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the main cultural traditions of China and the West
Requirements
 

Lee Woo Sing College students* are required to complete 6 units of College General Education courses. There are TWO compulsory courses (3 units) and ONE elective course (3 units) to be taken by students.

After gaining the course units, students are required to complete an application form and submit it with a copy of the transcript via CU Webform to obtain official approval.

Application for Approval-in-principle for GE Course Equivalence / Unit Exemption
 
  1. Approval-in-principle is given to facilitate students’ planning for overseas exchange. It is NOT applicable to students who have already completed the exchange programme. 
  2. Students are required to complete an application form and submit it with the detailed course outline for pre- approval before completion of exchange programme.
  3. If pre-approval is granted, you are requested to attach a copy of this form to the official application for course and unit exemption which must be submitted on CUSIS upon completion of the course.
