The Faculty of Business Administration hosted the Spring Cocktail at JW Marriott on 12 March to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Prof. Benjamin W. Wah (7th right), CUHK Provost, kicked off the event by delivering an opening speech. Prof. Chan Ka-lok (6th right), Dean of Business Administration, briefed everyone on a few major initiatives for the future advancement of the Faculty, including enhancement of its research and teaching excellence as well as its international rankings. He further led a toast to express his vision of developing a stronger connection with alumni and the corporate community.
Over 160 alumni and friends from academic, business and political circles attended the event. Guests in attendance included Prof. Michael K.M. Chow, Chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited; Mr. F C Lo, Chairman of FC Packaging Holding Limited; Ms. Gilly Wong, Chief Executive of Consumer Council; Mr. Fergus Wong, Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong, and many more.
