The Faculty is organizing a 3-day Workshop on Academic Writing and Conference Presentations for all engineering postgraduate students during 18 - 20 August 2015 (Tuesday to Thursday). The workshop aims at helping postgraduate students understand how to write, submit, and publish an academic paper in an international journal as well as teaching students how to attend, speak, or present a poster at an academic conference for Hong Kong researchers.
The speaker, Dr. Stephen Wallace, is an experienced teacher in English technical writing and conference presentations. He currently teaches at National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, National Central University and Industrial Technology Research Institute.
