Biography

Wai-Yiu (Oliver) Keung received the B. Eng. (Hons.) and M. Phil. Degrees, both in electronic engineering, from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2018 and 2020 respectively. He is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. From 2020 to 2022, he was an Assistant College Lecturer with the Division of Engineering and Technology in HKU SPACE Community College.

He has taught courses in areas spanning across computer & electrical engineering and data & computer science, such as digital circuitry, data mining, signal processing and communication, data structure and algorithm, linear algebra and multivariate calculus, probability and statistics, etc. He also offers foundation service courses in computer literacy.

Oliver is concurrently pursuing his doctorate in the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research mainly focuses on signal and data science, communications, optimization and machine learning, with an emphasis on quantized signal designs for hardware constrained physical layer massive MIMO transceiver.
