Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Hong Kong a donation of HK$2 , 000 for the award of an ICSA Bursary to a needy full-time student on company secretarial or business administration stream in 1987-88. (5) From Bank of Credit and Commerce International (Overseas) limited a donation of HK$30,000 for the establishment of an endowment fund to provide interest-free BCC Student Travel Loans for outstanding students with effect from 1987-88. (6) From Barclays Bank PLC and the Younger Managers' Club a donation of HK$3,000 for the 1987-88 Barclays Bank — Younger Managers' Club Scholarship, to be awarded to an outstanding student in Finance. (7) From the Croucher Foundation: (a) HK$220,000 as the Croucher Foundation Bursaries for needy students for 1987-88; (b) HK$232,000 as a further grant for the research project undertaken by Dr. Luh Tien-yau of the Department of Chemistry; and (c) HK$2,220,000 for the purchase of equipment for Information Technology research. (8) From Dow Chemical (Pacific) Ltd. a donation of HK$ 18,000 for four 1987-88 scholarships, three of $4,000 each to be awarded to two students in Accounting and Finance and one in Chemistry, and one of $6,000 to a Two-year MBA student. (9) From Du Pont Asia Pacific limited an annual donation of HK$ 10,000 from 1987-88 for the establishment of a scholarship, to be awarded annually to an outstanding third-year science student who is working on environmental issues. (10) From Professor Charles K. Kao an annual donation of HK$500 and a trophy from 1987-88 for the establishment of a Ma Lin Music Performance Prize, to be awarded to the most outstanding music student in an audition organized annually by the Department of Music in the presence of external adjudicators. (11) From Kiangsu and Chekiang Residents (HK) Association a donation of HK$80,000 for the 1987-88 scholarship and student loans established at the School of Education. (12) From Joyce M. Kuok Foundation an annual donation of HK$65,000 from 1987-88 for the establishment of five scholarships of HK$13,000 each, to be awarded annually to one second-year Pre-clinical student and four second-year science students. (13) From the S.L. Pao Education Foundation donations of US$17,000 and £ 10,000 to assist four graduates to pursue postgraduate studies at overseas universities in 1987-88. (14) From the University Lodge of Hong Kong a donation of HK$5,000 for one or two 1987-88 University Lodge Masonic Bursaries. (15) From Mr. Mosa Yeung a donation of HK$3 , 500 annually for three years from 1987-88 for the establishment of Yeung Ma Lai-Wah Memorial Bursary, to be awarded to a needy second-year Social Science undergraduate whose academic result is among the top 20% of the class. (16) From Winsor Education Foundation a donation of HK$5,000 to sponsor the publication of pamphlets on study skills produced by the Office of Student Affairs. (17) From Bangkok MIRCEN a donation of HK$1,948.50 in support of research/culture collection activities of the Department of Biology. (18) From Boehringer Ingelheim (HK) Ltd.: (a) HK$7,800 to the Chinese Medicinal Material Research Centre; and (b) HK$14,000 to sponsor a member of the Department of Medicine to attend a conference in the USA in November 1987. (19) From B. Braun Medical (HK) Ltd. a donation of HK$65,000 in support of a research project by the Department of Paediatrics. (20) From the following donors contributions to the Department of Surgery for educational and research purposes: (a) HK$10,000 from Mr. Chan Tai Kong; (b) HK$12,000 from Ms. She Pui Fong; (c) HK$2,000 from Mrs. Lydia Ann Huang; (d) HK$10,000 from Mr. Lau Kem Chuen; (e) HK$13,000 from Mr. Leung Wah Wai; (f) HK$10,000 from Mr. C.K.
