Outgrowths of the Gifted Programme To ma k e the r e w a r d i n g experiences of the S u mm e r G i f t e d P r o g r amme available to more students, a Saturday Gifted P r o g r amme has been o r g a n i z ed since F e b r u a ry this year to i n c l u de senior secondary school students. T h e p r o g r a m m e c o m p r i s es f o u r to f i v e l e c t u r es a n d a t o t a l o f 15 t o 16 t e a c h i n g h o u r s. Topics i n c l u de l e a d e r s h ip t r a i n i n g , self-assertiveness t r a i n i n g, a n d c r e a t i v i ty training. A s c h o o l - b a s e d p r o g r a m m e a n d a q u a l i t y teacher p r o g r a mm e are also b e i n g planned. The f o r mer w i l l p r o v i d e assistance to i n d i v i d u a l schools to t r a i n g i f t e d students w i t h l e a d e r s h i p p o t e n t i a l , w h o w i l l t h e n be a r r a n g e d t o t a ke u p l e a d e r s h i p r o l e s i n school. T he latter w i l l f i n d special me n t o r s f or g i f t e d a n d t a l e n t e d s t u d e n t s.
