Virtual Forum: “Queer FanTHasia: An Inter-Asia Cultural Perspective on Thai Y-Series”

“Queer FanTHasia” aims at bringing together scholars on queer Asian cultural studies and industry insiders of Y-series to examine the changing queerscape of Thai Y-series production and fandom, as well as exploring the possibilities of promoting gender and sexuality equality by means of Y-series. The virtual forum is comprised of two panels: an academic panel on BL, Thai Y-series and fandom, and a roundtable discussion panel where insiders of Y-series industry will share and reflect on their professional experience.
