Master of Arts in Cultural Management (MACM) Programme
VISITING SCHOLAR SCHEME AY2024/25
The MACM programme invites application for visiting scholars to be based in Hong Kong for one term (4 months) or two terms (8 months)* in AY2024/25. Applicants should have specialized knowledge in the theory and practice of cultural management, which include (but not limited to) creative industries, cultural policy, culture heritage and conservation, and/or visual/performing arts management.
Eligibility
Applicants must be a full-time professorial academic staff (Assistant Professor and above) in a recognized academic institution at the time of visit.
Requirements
Visiting scholars are expected to teach two full courses per term (approximately 5.5 contact hours per week combined) for the MACM programme. Visiting scholars are also invited to participate in the programme’s activities.
Benefits
Airfare to and from the home institution (economy class), on-campus office, and a minimum monthly salary of HK$74,985 (approx. US$9500). Scholars are expected to source for short-term accommodation on their own.
