22 Chinese University Bulletin No. 1, 2013 Wan Li, who just obtained her PhD from the CUHK School of Architecture, is a postdoctoral fellow at the School, and the leader of the CUHK Golden Jubilee Wu Zhi Qiao project. Prof. Edward Ng described her as a ‘very capable and unusual person’. Wan Li had begun taking part in Wu Zhi Qiao projects while still a Master’s student at Chongqing University in 2007. Till now she has participated in seven such projects. In her first, however, the bridge was never finished. It was in her second that she saw the first finished bridge of the Chongqing University team. 萬 麗 WAN Li
