MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRPERSON

Dear Colleagues, Alumni, Students, Staff, and Friends,

Welcome to this edition of newsletter. I hope you will get more connected with the CUHK CSE through these pages.

At the beginning of the 2023-24 academic year, I am thrilled to see many fresh and young faces everywhere in the campus and in our Ho Sin Hang Engineering Building. Our department is welcoming close to 436 new students, including 236 undergraduates and 200 postgraduates, to join our big CSE family. I wish all of them a wonderful and exciting journey with us in the coming couple of years: work hard, dream big and enjoy the transforming experience of learning and growth.

This is also the 60th Anniversary for CUHK and there will be an exciting Alumni Homecoming Day on 2nd December 2023. Lab tours will be organized to show you around in the department. Do come back to your alma mater!
