Animal Handling Workshop
Supported by the Laboratory Animal Services Centre (LASEC), our Department regularly hosts hands-on workshops for research staff and students to ensure the quality of data obtained from our research projects meet with international standards.
Content of Workshop includes:
✔ Animal welfare and ethics
✔ Animal Experimentation Licensing in HK
✔ Ethical Approval in the CUHK
✔ Regulations in Animal Facilities
✔ Hands-on Laboratory Animal Handling (mice, rat and rabbit's sexing, restraint and substance administration)
✔ Demonstration of humane euthanasia method
