JCECC Capacity Building and Education Programmes on End-of-Life Care
The public education programme is geared towards the general population and mainly consists of promotional and educational activities aiming to raise public knowledge and awareness of various end-of-life issues. Major topics covered by the programme include the importance of early end-of-life planning and documentation of preferences, treatment and care options, financial matters and will-making, and the enduring power of attorney. In general, the educational activities can be categorized into the following formats.
