Public Education – Talks and Information Sessions

In collaboration with various residential care homes and community centres, the project delivers talks and information sessions to older people and caregivers on a regular basis. To take into account the relatively limited cognitive capacity of the participants and thus ensure their comprehension and retention of information, these sessions make a substantial use of various materials and videos produced under the project (see Resources for more details). Topics covered in the talks include, in addition to those already highlighted in Public Education, bereavement counselling, emotional support, and funeral issues.
