| 詳情 | Hong Kong films have a distinctive identity that has captured hearts and imaginations worldwide. To give viewers a taste of the Hong Kong cinema, we’ve selected two intriguing pieces from among Hong Kong’s most influential filmmakers. Based on a novel by Eileen Chang, Ann Hui’s “Love in a Fallen City” portrays the love story between a cynical playboy and a divorcee in Hong Kong on the eve of the 1941 Japanese invasion. In To Kei Fung’s gangster flick “Election”, award-winning actors Tony Leung and Simon Yam play two gang leaders who are engaged in a power struggle to become the new leader of a Hong Kong triad.
