The Office of Student Affairs is going to organise the Arts Festival with the focus on Performing Arts this March and April! Two workshops will be held to provide an opportunity for students to learn and share cultures via music and rhythm. The participants will be invited to share their learning outcome in the Arts Gala on campus on 12 April (Wednesday) noon.

• Zumba Workshop

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance workout combining multiple Latin songs and rhythms with moves from beautiful dances of salsa, flamenco, tango and more! Participants will learn fun and energetic dance steps while burning lots of calories at the same time! Our students from Latin America will also share their culture in each class.

• A Cappella Workshop

A Cappella is a genre of music in which singers use their voices to emulate instruments. Instructed by Mr. Kessay Chan, a CUHK alumnus of music as well as an award-winning A Cappella performer, participants will learn basic A Cappella and beatboxing techniques and get hands-on experience of performing songs.

**The participants in both workshops are expected to perform in the Arts Gala so as to share their learning outcome on 12 April noon.

**Enrolment will only be confirmed after the fee or deposit is settled. To secure your seat, please pay it at the Learning and Cultural Enhancement Section office at your earliest convenience after you submit the registration form.
