CUHK Host Family Programme

Launched in 2013, the CUHK Host Family Programme is a non-residential programme which aims to facilitate non-local students’ adaptation to the new environment and forge cultural bonds between them and local CUHK staff.  Each host family is expected to initiate at least two activities for their student(s) during the participating academic year.  The activities can come in all shapes and sizes, be they holiday or family meals, festival celebrations, visits or outings.  A subsidy is also available for each activity organised.
