The i-Ambassador Scheme 2023-24

All CUHK students (UG, PG and exchange students)

The i-Ambassador Scheme provides students with a platform to turn their creative ideas into cultural integration activities.  In addition, participants will receive training to equip them with the necessary cultural knowledge and cross-cultural communication skills. They can also apply for funding to support their cultural activities.

Join us now if you want to promote your culture, connect with people from different backgrounds, or promote cultural diversity on campus with like-minded friends!

Program Requirements:

1. Attend one session from Part A and one session from Part B of the training activities (see details below). Students who have previously participated in this program may be exempt from the training.
2. Organize at least one cultural activity in 2023-24.

Training Activities:

Part A

• Cultural Sensitivity Workshop (schedule to be announced shortly)
• Meet-and-Greet Night: 28 Sep 2023, 7:00-9:00pm (tentative)

Part B

• Selected workshops from LEAD 1001 (schedule to be announced shortly)

Funding:

Appointed i-Ambassadors can apply for the Internationalization Activity Fund.

Recognition for i-Ambassadors who have fulfilled the program requirements:

• Receiving an e-Certificate
• Having your Student Development Portfolio (SDP) updated

Remarks:
1. The Office of Student Affairs may use or publish photos taken at any activities related to the program without prior notice
2. The Office of Student Affairs reserves the final right to make decisions on all matters related to this program.
