Train-the-trainer Series

The train-the-trainer paradigm is a well-known framework for establishing a competent and motivated workforce by empowering the leaders to guide and support their colleagues. Following this approach, the series is designed to train senior nurses and help them build specific strategies for tackling practical barriers in implementing Advance Care Planning and end-of-life care. Ultimately, the series is aimed at cultivating a collaborative atmosphere in hospital wards that gives priority to patients’ quality of life, thereby enabling junior nurses to provide patient-centred end-of-life care even in an intensive and demanding work environment.
