Career impact – Midwifery is a healthcare profession that deals with pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period (including care for the newborns), in addition to the sexual and reproductive health of women throughout their lifetime. IBLCE approved course – The OBSC 5001 Maternal and Infant Nutrition course is CERPs approved and recognized by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
Specialized knowledge development – The programme prepares students with the necessary skills (such as obstetric ultrasound, critical care in obstetrics, pharmacology in obstetrics and grief counselling) for becoming competent midwives with a comprehensive assortment of skills and knowledge to cope with the challenges in the clinical setting.
