馮志強
Teaching Assistant
Before joining the Department of Sociology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Charles worked as a research assistant at the Academy of Hong Kong Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong. Drawing insights from new fiscal sociology and state-building literature, he uses the comparative-historical method to study the fiscal trajectory of Hong Kong and Singapore during the age of decolonization. Apart from fiscal politics, he is also interested in issues related to identity-making, the geopolitical impact of the Cold War, and colonial governance. If you are interested in comparative historical analysis and archival method, feel free to contact him.
