• Fill in the online Language Background Form
• A completion receipt (a PDF file) will be sent to your registered email address after successful submission
• Take note of the Language Background Form number printed on the completion receipt
• Enter the Language Background Form number in your ISS online application form

Application Form for Enrolling Summer Session
Completed form with endorsement from concerned departments/offices
*For students in their final term, or under suspension of study due to reasons other than participating in exchange programmes or internship ONLY

• Download the Application Form for Enrolling Summer Session (Link to be provided)
  • Final Term
  • Suspension of Study
• Seek approval from the Major Department/Programme
• Upload the scanned copy of the form to application system, then submit in person to the Registration and Examinations Section (RES)

Completed form with endorsement from concerned departments/offices
*For students who seek to exceed their term/year course load ONLY

• Submit Online Application for Exceeding Year Course Load of 39 units (for Summer Session Only) (Link to be provided)
• Email a copy of the application result to iss@cuhk.edu.hk when available
