Environment, Science and Technology

Some of the world’s most pressing challenges require solutions based on STEM and technology pervades all facets of our society and daily lives.  Our courses in Environment, Science and Technology provide knowledge in a range of discipline including engineering innovation, environmental sustainability and traditional medicine.

 

Global Business and Management

As the financial hub of Asia, Hong Kong is home to many multinational organizations.  Its status as the freest economy in the world and its pivotal role in China’s ambitious Greater Bay Area initiative will bridge the world to China. By drawing on examples from local, national and international case studies, students will be able to explore in depth the knowledge delivered in our Global Business and Management courses.

 

Society and Human Interaction

We live in a world with intricate mechanisms where people interact.  The understanding of such interactions between peoples, societies and cultures helps us to develop systems and influence policy that will impact our lives and improve societies.  Join us in this range of courses to explore our society and the human interactions within.

 

Understanding China 

China has experienced rapid economic and social growth since 1978, with more than 800 million people lifted out of poverty.  Learn about how this change has impacted the country, its people, and its engagement with the rest of the world through multiple lenses including business, social, cultural, and political.

 

Chinese Language – Cantonese (For Non-Native Cantonese Speakers)

The world’s most spoken language is Chinese. Nearly 1.3 billion people speak a variation of Chinese as their first language, including 10 varieties of dialects. Challenge yourself to Putonghua and Cantonese, the dialect used in Hong Kong to connect with the Chinese people and its culture, and pave way for a vibrant career.
