Programme Overview The Summer Institutes in Computational Social Science (SICSS) offer methods training and build a community for social scientists (broadly conceived) and data scientists (broadly conceived) interested in computational social science. Since 2017, SICSS have provided more than 1,200 young scholars with cutting-edge training in the field and the opportunity to develop new research collaborations that break down disciplinary barriers.The second SICSS at Hong Kong aims to bring together graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and junior faculty interested in computational social science for two weeks of intensive study and collaborative research that traverses disciplinary boundaries.The SICSS-HK 2022 will be held virtually at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from June 20 to July 1, 2022. It will be co-organized by three computational social scientists:

Jaemin Lee, Assistant Professor of Sociology at CUHK

Han Zhang, Assistant Professor, Division of Social Science, HKUST

Haohan Chen, Assistant Professor of Politics and Public Administration at HKU
