Calling all Hong Kong university students: Are you a maker? Do you love creating tangible products? Are you curious about what it takes to build a startup based on a product with both hardware and software components?
Come to our infosession and learn about the MEMSI program (MIT Entrepreneurship and Maker Skills Integrator), to be held from May 29 - June 10, 2018 in Hong Kong. 15 enterprising students from Hong Kong will be chosen to join us in Hong Kong and Shenzhen for two weeks of intense learning on entrepreneurship and on maker skills together with students from MIT. MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node focuses on cultivating innovation capabilities of MIT and Hong Kong students, increasing opportunities and accelerating the path from idea to impact to help galvanize the region’s innovation ecosystem. Since inception two years ago, over a dozen ventures have been started by students through the Node’s entrepreneurship programs. The MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node is deepening MIT’s links to Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area by fostering and championing innovation in academic, commercial and social communities.
