Job Description

The Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) invites applications for appointment as Professional Consultant in the School of Pharmacy.

Applicants should have (i) a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Pharmacy or related medical, science, engineering or business discipline; (ii) at least 10 years of experience in pharmacy practice and/or drug regulation and business development, including experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical and healthcare industries; (iii) evidence of leadership and collaborative interactions in pharmacy practice; and (iv) excellent oral and written communication skills.

Duties include:

  1. Teaching subjects in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) and graduate programmes
  2. Developing innovative and experiential learning platforms
  3. Providing service to the School, Faculty, University and the scientific/professional discipline

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.

Job Description

The Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Lectureship in the School of Pharmacy (http://www.pharmacy.cuhk.edu.hk).

Applicants should have (i) at least a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, a Master of Clinical Pharmacy (MCP) degree, or a MSc degree or equivalent in a relevant pharmacy discipline that underpins understanding in clinical pharmacy practice; (ii) pharmacy residency training, preferably with experience in advanced pharmacy practice, and/or at least 3 years of hospital / community pharmacy practice experience;  (iii) a passion for teaching, and experience with eLearning, remote learning, and similar non-conventional student learning-empowerment platforms; (iv) excellent oral and written communication skills; and preferably (v) evidence of leadership and collaborative interactions.

Duties include (a) teaching clinical pharmacy in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) and MCP programs; (b) developing and supervising practice clerkships; (c) developing eLearning and other innovative learning platforms; and (d) providing service to the School, Faculty, University and the scientific/professional discipline.
