Personal Details

Dr. Chui Ping Lee received her PharmD degree from the University of Rhode Island, USA and completed her post-doctoral residency training in Managed Care Pharmacy Practice at Scripsolutions Pharmacy Benefit Management Company (US). In year 2007 and 2011, Dr Lee became a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and psychiatric pharmacist by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (US). Her areas of interest are psychiatry, pharmacist-initiated patient care and post–baccalaureate clinical pharmacy education. Besides teaching and practice research, she has delivered various lectures and presentations on psychiatric drug use to healthcare professionals and patient groups.

Dr Lee is responsible for establishing post-graduate clinical pharmacy training programme in the School of Pharmacy. She is currently serving as the Director of the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program (MCP) and coordinator of Advanced Certificate in Specialty Training programme of Oncology, Paediatrics and Geriatrics. She is a founding fellow of the College of Pharmacy Practice and is chairperson of the Academic Board. During 2010-2014 and 2016, Dr Lee served as the principal evaluator for the Evaluation and Service Monitoring Mechanism of the Scheme on Visiting Pharmacist Services for Residential Care Homes for the Elderly.

Research Interests

Dr Lee’s interests are to demonstrate outcome changes by integrating psychiatric pharmacists into the outpatient and inpatient settings to provide comprehensive therapeutic management for psychiatric patients.
