The Department of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the establishment of a new award – WMA Photography Award for Graduates (WMA大專生攝影獎), with effect from 2021-22.
The award is established with a generous donation from the WMA, a non-profit platform dedicated to facilitating greater understanding of Hong Kong through lens-based art form since 2011, to recognize the excellence of the lens-based works of emerging young artists presented at graduate exhibitions. A number of recipients from the final-year students of B.A. in Fine Arts, Master of Fine Arts, and M.A. in Fine Arts of the Department are selected for the Award based on their good performance in photography or moving images in the respective graduation exhibitions.
