Full-time Lecturer 

The Department of Anthropology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong seeks one full-time Lecturer to teach courses relating to the anthropology of China and Asia and to her/his areas of anthropological interest, as well as to the Department’s existing course needs, beginning August 2022. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Anthropology, and demonstrated excellence in teaching.  Ability to speak Cantonese is a plus. Applicants will teach 5-6 courses per year over two semesters. Salary and benefits will depend upon a teacher’s experience and seniority, but will be highly competitive. Appointment(s) will initially be made on a contract basis for two years, renewable subject to available funding, good performance and mutual agreement.
