Foodways and Heritage Conference The department co-organized the International Conference on Foodways and Heritage. The conference included field trips that showed distinct scenes of foodways in Hong Kong: Nam Pak Hong in Sheung Wan and Freshwater Fish farm in Yuen Long. More...

Prof. TAN Chee-Beng RetiresAfter serving the Department for 16 years, Prof. Tan Chee-Beng retired in July 2012. The department held a farewell party for him. Many students, faculty and alumni attended.
