
Art Museum Ambassador (AMA) Scheme
Eligibility: All CUHK students (Activities are mostly conducted in Cantonese)
Benefits of Becoming an Art Museum Ambassador (AMA):
Required Tasks:
^ Keep an eye on our yearly AMA recruitment at the beginning of the school year for details.
* Hours and number of times can be accumulated over years of service. For example if you serve around 2 hours per month, you could have 100 service hours by the end of a 4-year study.
# Full-time undergraduate AMA will be paid upon completion of their service.

- Work in our education team, collections team, administrative team or facilities team as a museum assistant.
- Learn more about Chinese art and train your communication skills as a docent
- Broaden your horizons by getting to know art-loving friends from staff members of the Art Museum and from different departments.
- Enjoy priority in registration for our events and discount in purchasing our publications and souvenirs
- Upon completion of required tasks:
(i) Receive a service certificate and a free catalogue or a souvenir.
(ii) Earn a Letter of Appreciation from our Director with meritorious service for over 100 hours.
Required Tasks:
- Attend the AMA briefing session^
- Attend 2 activities organized by the Art Museum and submit reports on your experience*
- Lead 3 guided tours (must attend training session before the tour)*#
- Serve as a museum assistant for 9 hours*#
