Filling The Interregnum: Zhengtong, Jingtai and Tianshun Porcelain of the Ming Dynasty in Hong Kong Collections
This catalogue features 80 items of interregnum porcelain wares, the majority of which were selected from local public and private collections in Hong Kong that were shown in the 2012 exhibition “Filling the Interregnum: Ming Mid-15th Century Ceramics form Jingdezhen”. Exhibition Catalogue: For Blessings and Guidance: the Qianlong Emperor’s Design for State Sacrificial Vessels
This catalogue features over 60 items of Qing ritual vessels and a Blue silk dragon robe, Jifu. The ritual vessels displayed are rare examples of ritual vessels specified in the “Illustrated Compendium of Ceremonial Paraphernalia for State Rituals”.
