Biography

Professor WONG Kwok Chu George is a specialist in Neurosurgery and credentialled on Endovascular Neurointerventional Procedures. He is Professor in Division of Neurosurgery, Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Consultant (Honorary) of the Hospital Authority. Clinically, he is devoted to the service development for patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebral aneurysms, cerebral arteriovenous malformations, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. He has received numerous research awards and has published more than 200 papers in peer reviewed journals including Stroke, Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, and Journal of Neurosurgery. He is passionate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and chairs numerous workshops and courses for professional bodies. He serves key positions in a number of international and local professional bodies including European Stroke Organization, Asian Australasian Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology, College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, Hong Kong Society of Simulation in Healthcare, and Hong Kong Society of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology. He is the elected Congress President of the 15th AAFITN Biennial Congress. He has also completed the LLM(Arb&DR)(HKU) degree and is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
